What Should I Expect When I Visit Penmac to Apply?

What Should I Expect When I Visit Penmac to Apply?

Have you been thinking of coming to Penmac, but weren’t sure what to expect? Penmac is a staffing company that can help you find a job. We place people in a variety of different positions, including part and full time, and temporary or temp-to-hire. Penmac is always free to job seekers. Our staffing specialists are eager to help you find employment that is a good fit.

Before You Come

If you come to Penmac seeking employment, be sure to dress appropriately. As there is a chance you will be sent to a job on the same day, dress prepared to work for the job in which you are applying. For your application, bring two forms of identification (such as your license, social security card, passport, birth certificate, etc.), and a check to start direct deposit. If you have a resume, bring that as well. If you’re able, start on the application before you come at penmac.jobs

Application

When you come to Penmac for the first time, expect to spend approximately an hour preparing for employment unless you’ve already done your application online. If you haven’t started the application yet, you’re welcome to do that in any Penmac office. If you anticipate having trouble filling out paperwork, bring someone who can help, or prepare the forms online in advance. To be placed in an appropriate job, you must complete the entire application. Do not leave any questions unanswered.

Testing

Depending on the position(s) you’re applying for, after you complete your application, you may be required to do some basic testing to measure your job skills and knowledge. This testing allows Penmac to place you in a job that is a good fit for both you and the company.

Interview

When your application and testing are finished, you will meet with a Penmac staffing specialist for an interview. This allows the staffing specialist to learn more about your work history and experience. It also gives you an opportunity to share your employment expectations. You can let Penmac know the type of job you want, whether you are seeking part or full time employment, and when you are available to work.

Placement

Once you have finished your application process, testing, and interview, you are eligible to work. A staffing specialist will contact you if a position becomes available. As many jobs become available quickly, without much notice, you should check in with the Penmac office twice a week.

Each Penmac office generally follows the same hiring procedures, but there may be slight variations between locations. If you have any questions about working for Penmac, stop by a local branch and we will be happy to help.
