Why work as a paraprofessional?

Paraprofessionals are vital to the success of our community’s students. If you’re looking for a rewarding job opportunity where your contributions make a positive difference to students and teachers, Penmac Education Staffing would love to speak with you about these opportunities to work as a special education teacher assistant in the North Kansas City School district. Your purpose as a paraprofessional is to assist with a teacher, group of teachers, or throughout the building to provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. If you have worked as a CNA or medical assistant, but are looking for a consistent daytime schedule and would enjoy working with young people, this could be a perfect opportunity to use your medical skills to care for others in a new environment.  If you've considered working as a substitute teacher, but aren't sure if you'd like to manage a classroom on your own, working as a paraprofessional is a great way to work in education while focusing on primarily one student and assisting a classroom teacher.
