Springfield, MO—Penmac Staffing is offering immediate temporary employment to restaurant, hotel, and other workers who have been laid off due to recent social distancing policies. Penmac will pay a $50 bonus to those who have been laid off because of closures based on policies due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We have jobs, and though they are not in the hospitality industry, they do provide income in these uncertain times,” says Tim Massey, Penmac Staffing CEO. “To give a little bump, we decided to add the incentive bonus. Some of the local workers we have spoken to are very concerned. Of course, these positions will not be right for everyone, but we have them. One of our local client partners has 120 job openings. There are still businesses that are operating. Ultimately, we are very conscious of safety concerns, and we are over-communicating on how employees can stay safe in this new environment.”
Penmac Staffing is still hiring, and has work available in a variety of industries, primarily warehouse and manufacturing, with some clerical and other opportunities, depending on your location. In order to supply the nation with the goods and services we all need, businesses are still working hard.
Apply at Penmac today for opportunities with companies that take healthy practices seriously, because they know business needs to carry on even in extraordinary times. Apply online anytime at www.penmac.jobs.
Incentive bonuses to laid off workers will be paid after completing 40 hours of work; please provide your most recent pay stub to verify past employer.
