Staffing Industry Analysts named Penmac Staffing President Paula Adams on the 2016 Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing List. The list includes global women executives in staffing who are the industry’s best and brightest. Women on the list were chosen based on leadership, creativity, and influence. Adams also appeared on the inaugural list in 2015.
Staffing Industry Analysts started publishing a Top Staffing list in 2011, but in 2015, decided to do a separate list specifically for women, noting that 57% of women participate in the labor force, compared to 69% of men. Staffing Industry Analysts noted that although the staffing industry employs a majority of females, that there are few women in leadership positions. This list was meant to bring attention to this gender gap.
Paula Adams, president of Penmac Staffing, was honored for her outstanding leadership. Adams joined Penmac in 1995, and worked in nearly every department before becoming vice president in 2001, and president in 2006. As president, Adams oversees more than thirty branches in seven states, guiding branch managers in sales, customer service, and problem solving. In addition to her role as Penmac Staffing president, Adams is influential in the community. She served eleven years on local school boards, and is currently active in Kiwanis, United Way, the Young Presidents’ Organization, and more. Through her work with Penmac and the community, Adams has influenced thousands of job seekers, supported local businesses, and has been an exceptional leader for the Penmac Staffing team.
Paula also appeared on February’s Staffing Industry Analysts’ North American Staffing list, which lists leaders who have most influenced the staffing industry.
