Think about what you bring to the position in terms of skills and experience. Are you an expert in the field? Then make sure you apply for positions that have a salary where you will be adequately compensated. On the other hand, maybe you’re just getting started in the industry and are willing to start with a lower pay rate, that can increase as you become more experienced in your field.
