Penmac Staffing President Paula Adams was recently selected to be on the Staffing Industry Analysts’ North American Staffing 100 list. The North American Staffing 100 is not a ranking, but rather is a collection of individuals who have influenced the staffing industry, including entrepreneurs, CEOs, presidents, and other leaders in the field. This is Adams’s first appearance on the Staffing 100.
Honorees are selected for the list through a nomination process. The editorial team at Staffing Industry Analysts carefully reviews nominations and selects the industry’s biggest influencers. Honorees will appear in the January/February 2016 issue of Staffing Industry Review.
Paula Adams worked in nearly every department of Penmac Staffing Services since joining in 1995, rising from the ranks to be appointed VP in 2002 and then president in 2006. Penmac, the largest employee-owned staffing firm in the US, broke the $100 million revenue mark in 2014, landing on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest US staffing firms. Adams is involved in the local United Way, Kiwanis, the Young Presidents’ Organization, the local Chamber of Commerce and Drury University’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Symposium.
Adams was also recently honored last fall, when Staffing Industry Analysts compiled a global list of women executives in staffing who were the industry’s best and brightest—The Global 100: Women in Staffing. Penmac President Paula Adams was chosen as one of the top 50 women in the staffing industry in the nation. Women on this list were chosen based on their leadership, creativity, and influence. This week, Adams is speaking at the 25th annual Staffing Industry Executive Forum in Phoenix, AZ. Adams will be on a panel, titled “Creating an Environment Where Women Can Succeed in Your Business,” with other female executives who have influenced the staffing industry.
