The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate the place we call home. Penmac employees live and work across nine states in the nation, and we wanted to take a moment to honor the many Penmac locations. Each town and city provides Penmac with an opportunity to be a part of the local community. Founder Patti Penny opened the first location in a small rented office space in Springfield, MO; the venture has since grown into a national company while maintaining the small town values of hard work, quality character, and strong relationships.
Missouri is Penmac’s first and largest home, with headquarters founded there in 1988. Three years after opening, Penmac expanded to its first three branches—Carthage, Joplin, and Marshfield. Over the next several decades, Penmac continued opening new offices throughout the state to meet the needs of growing businesses. Today Penmac is proud to have nineteen offices throughout the Show Me state.
Penmac moved into Arkansas in 1995, with the Russellville, AR branch. Twenty years later, the Russellville office serves many of the same clients as it did when it opened, emphasizing how much Penmac values its relationships. Since first moving to Arkansas, Penmac has also opened branches in Farmington, Fort Smith, and Harrison. Home to a variety of manufacturing, farming, transportation, and tourism-based businesses, Arkansas has a rich and diverse economy.
In addition to having offices throughout the Ozarks, Penmac has also branched out into other states, including Kansas, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. One of the great things about starting locations in cities and states across the nation, is we get to meet individuals from all over and learn about different towns, industries, and businesses. Penmac hires Branch Managers who are native to the area because they are the experts on their town, and have an invested interest in helping their neighbors.
The Penmac team is extremely grateful to operate in so many wonderful cities. Thank you, to our business partners, employees, and job seekers, who make it possible for Penmac to be a part of your community.
In observance of Independence Day, all Penmac Staffing offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2015.
