Penmac Personnel Announces Learning over Lunch Seminar Series

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri, April 28, 2008—Penmac Personnel announces the first seminar in its new “Learning Over Lunch” series for businesses in the Ozarks. The May 9 seminar will cover the topics of Co-Employment Liability and Unemployment Claims & Appeals. Jack Yates, partner at Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP, will present information about co-employment liability. Learn more about your company’s rights and responsibilities in a situation when two or more employers have legal rights and duties with respect to the same employees. David Strange, Chief of Unemployment Insurance Benefits for the Missouri Department of Labor & Industrial Relations, will be speaking about unemployment claims and appeals. Learn how your company can save thousands of dollars on unemployment insurance taxes with thorough documentation and timely response to inquires from the Department of Labor.
The seminar will be held on Friday, May 9 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Tower Club in Hammons Tower in Springfield, Missouri. A buffet lunch will be served.
